We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to support inventory accuracy and control activities for a long-term contract opportunity in Miami, Florida. This position focuses on reviewing inventory records, identifying mismatches, and helping maintain reliable data across warehouse and inventory systems. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, advanced Excel knowledge, and hands-on experience with inventory audits and reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and maintain dependable inventory records.
- Compare data across legacy and current inventory systems to identify inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile physical counts with system records and investigate inventory variances in a timely manner.
- Use advanced Excel tools to analyze inventory data, create reports, and highlight trends or issues requiring attention.
- Support annual and cycle count activities across warehouse and asset inventory operations.
- Maintain organized documentation of inventory movements, adjustments, and audit findings.
- Partner with warehouse and operations teams to improve tracking accuracy across assembly line and storage environments.
- Assist with inventory accounting processes by validating data used for reporting and stock reconciliation.

- At least 3 years of experience in inventory control, inventory analysis, or a related inventory-focused role.
- Strong background in inventory audits, reconciliation, variance investigation, and record accuracy.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large data sets and prepare clear inventory reports.
- Experience working with warehouse inventory systems and inventory tracking tools.
- Knowledge of physical inventory procedures, including annual inventory and cycle count processes.
- Ability to identify discrepancies quickly and take a methodical approach to resolving them.
- Familiarity with asset inventory, inventory accounting support, and inventory record maintenance.
