We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to provide welcoming, efficient support for a retail-facing environment in San Antonio, Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing front-desk interactions, and staying organized during busy periods. The role will focus on creating a positive experience for visitors while assisting with transactions, questions, and day-to-day service needs.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers upon arrival and serve as the first point of contact for questions, guidance, and general assistance.
- Provide accurate information about products, promotions, services, and store procedures to help customers make informed decisions.
- Resolve routine customer issues, including returns and exchanges, with professionalism and a service-focused approach.
- Support checkout and point-of-sale activities by processing basic transactions and handling incoming payments accurately.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and inviting front desk and customer service area throughout the day.
- Assist team members with light administrative duties, order entry, and additional customer support during high-traffic periods.
- Contribute to a positive retail experience by communicating clearly, responding promptly, and addressing customer needs effectively.
- Prior experience in customer service, retail support, front desk operations, receptionist work, or call center customer service is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of customers.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks at once while remaining organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic experience with cash handling, point-of-sale systems, or incoming payment processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with order entry and general sales support activities is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other basic office tools is preferred.
- Dependable attendance, a detail-oriented approach, and a customer-focused attitude are essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods during shifts.
