Our fulfillment hub is looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to handle order assembly and packaging for outgoing customer orders. You will navigate our warehouse aisles to locate requested SKUs, pack items securely into appropriate shipping boxes, and apply shipping labels to ensure customers receive accurate, undamaged deliveries on time.
salary: $17 - $20 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM education: High School
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using handheld barcode scanners and pick sheets.
- Inspect selected items for damage, correct labeling, and accurate quantity counts before packing.
- Assemble shipping cartons, pack items with appropriate cushioning, and seal packages securely.
- Affix correct shipping manifests, carrier labels, and packing slips to finished cartons.
- Restock packing stations with tape, boxes, bubble wrap, and dunnage at the end of each shift.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
