Construction Manager

Join our client an industry innovator shaping cloud infrastructure as a Construction Manager in Manassas, VA, and build the future with us! In this role, you will lead complex data centre site pre-construction efforts to drive critical expansion. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience in civil engineering and construction safety, complemented by an active OSHA 30 certification.

responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of pre-construction work for datacenter campus sites, fulfilling the dual role of Construction Project Manager and Project Safety Advisor.
• Lead complex site development projects, including the relocation of groundwater treatment facilities, monitoring wells, and electric distribution lines.
• Coordinate directly with environmental engineering firms, responsible parties, and regulatory bodies to ensure site activities comply with national and state environmental consent orders.
• Liaise across design teams, contractors, and project professionals while ensuring all on-site activities maintain strict health, safety, and operational standards.

qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of progressive experience delivering complex capital development projects and environmental compliance.

Active OSHA 30 certification alongside at least 5 years of dedicated experience in construction Health & Safety.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of building cross-functional relationships with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory agencies.
