location: McLean, Virginia job type: Contract salary: $54.92 - 60.78 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and Python
• Data modeling experience, particularly with relational databases
• Experience consolidating and simplifying existing scripts and pipelines to improve, reusability, data quality, and performance
• Adherence to enterprise data management practices, including designing preventative and detective data quality checks
• Experience using Git or similar tools for managing code, scripts, and collaborative pipeline development
• Strong communication skills, especially when communicating problems identified during the course of the work

qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Databricks, OneLake, and OneStream

Strong domain knowledge to translate business context into data insights and support data governance standards

Demonstrated ability to deal with disparate and occasionally ambiguous data sources
