Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, processing equipment, and filling systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial fillers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and related production equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot air compressors, boilers, steam systems, and hot and cold water systems.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and mechanical drawings.
- Identify equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement effective repairs to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Perform equipment inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues, completed repairs, and outstanding work to the maintenance team.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and applicable food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work closely with production personnel to ensure equipment operates reliably and production schedules are maintained.
