Maintenance Mechanic

Our clients located in Bensalem and Northeast Philadelphia, PA are seeking qualified and experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to join their team. Positions will require perfoming troubleshooting and repairs to various industrial and production machines including packaging equipment, labelers, fillers, motors, and conveyor systems. 1st and 2nd Shift positions available! $30-35/hr based on experience and location. *Medical Benefits *401k *PTO

salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Coding and Packaging machinery in customer sites.
• Ability to manage all aspects of new product line installations which include pre-install preparation at customer sites, coordinating and/or performing physical installation of machinery.
• Train on-site operators & maintenance mechanics to safely operate and maintain installed equipment.
• Offer clients troubleshooting support via telephone.
• Schedule jobs and ensure timely deliveries in conjunction with customer service.
• Provide detailed professional written service reports on jobs and ensure accuracy for parts utilized.
• Always ensure a positive attitude and professional demeanor with customers.
• Strive for a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and mutual goals.
• Develop and maintain adequate processes and procedures in line with company goals.
• Provides sales leads to Sales Department.
• Goodelectrical background (AC & DC voltages) with the ability to read wiring schematics and use a multi-meter.
• Should be capable of using basic hand tools and possess a mechanical aptitude.
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Should be capable of handling and/or maneuvering heavy weights by himself.
• Should be capable of working with little or no supervision.
• Ability to always interact with clients in a professional manner, both on-site and over the phone
• Possesses a clean, valid driver’s license.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 20lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
