We are looking for a CNC/SMT operator for a facilty in Gray, TN. This is 1st shift 7:30am-4:00pm. Monday - Friday. Pay is $19/hr. As an operator you are the heart of the production floor. Responsibilities
As a CNC / SMT Operator, you will be at the heart of our production floor, running high-tech Surface Mount Technology (SMT) automated assembly lines and precision CNC machinery to manufacture top-tier electronic assemblies. Run Modern SMT Assembly Lines: Setup, load, and operate automated stencil printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems. Operate CNC Machinery: Setup and run CNC routers, mills, or depanelers for PCB board separation, enclosure machining, and custom hardware fabrication. Master Machine Setups: Perform quick line changeovers, feed components (tape, reel, tray), upload manufacturing programs, and adjust machine parameters for optimal yields. Ensure Rock-Solid Quality: Conduct first-article inspections and routine visual/optical quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and microscopes to meet tight IPC standards. Collaborate & Innovate: Work side-by-side with manufacturing engineers and team leads to refine setup processes, boost production efficiency, and eliminate downtime.
