We're seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Floor Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of our beautiful 100-acre senior living community. From keeping floors looking their best to helping maintain clean, comfortable spaces for our residents, your work plays an important role in making Peter Becker feel like home.

⏰ Your Schedule
- Full-time, second shift
- Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
- Occasional weekends and holidays as needed
- Reliable attendance is essential to the success of this role.

🧽 What You'll Do
As a Floor Technician, you'll help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming by maintaining a variety of flooring and shared spaces.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining carpets and hard-surface flooring throughout the community.
- Vacuuming, spot cleaning, shampooing, scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and refinishing floors.
- Dry and wet mopping floors, stairwells, hallways, and common areas.
- Cleaning entrance mats, upholstery, wheelchairs, vents, and grills.
- Cleaning carpets in vacant apartments, cottages, and resident living spaces.
- Operating, cleaning, and maintaining floor-care equipment safely.
- Removing trash and waste materials from designated areas.
- Moving furniture as needed to complete cleaning and floor-maintenance projects.
- Assisting with emergency spill cleanup and other environmental services needs.
- Reporting equipment issues, damaged furniture, and building maintenance concerns.
- Following infection-prevention, safety, and departmental procedures.
- Participating in required training and departmental meetings.

- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or furniture as required.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Previous experience in floor care, custodial services, housekeeping, environmental services, or commercial cleaning is also preferred.
