PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading company in the chemical and ingredients distribution industry to find a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator . Location: North Liberty, IA | Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5:30pm | Pay: $19.50/hr
What You'll Do
As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, picked, and shipped to customers. Your work directly supports efficient warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
Daily Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Receive incoming shipments and verify products against documentation
- Inspect and check inventory for accuracy and quality
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner
- Use RF scanning equipment and electronic tablets to manage inventory transactions
- Count products accurately and maintain inventory integrity
- Follow all safety procedures, warehouse policies, and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions and documentation
- Strong counting and basic math skills with high attention to detail
- Experience operating a forklift safely in a warehouse environment
- Comfortable using electronic tablets, handheld scanners, and RF systems
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as required
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of forklift operating experience
- Experience in chemical, ingredients, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Previous experience with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology

Pay Details: $19.50 per hour
