What You'll Do
As a Carpenter, you'll play an essential role in creating custom wood packaging solutions that protect valuable equipment throughout transportation and storage.
Daily Responsibilities
- Build custom wooden crates for industrial equipment and products.
- Construct skids, pallets, and export crates to customer specifications.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and secure lumber using hand and power tools.
- Operate pneumatic nail guns, staple guns, drills, saws, and other shop equipment.
- Read and interpret basic measurements, work instructions, and packing specifications.
- Inspect completed products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Handle and move lumber and wood materials safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
- Occasionally work from ladders when needed (up to 12 feet), though accommodation for ground-based work may be available based on assignment needs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience using common carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to accurately read measurements and follow specifications.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools in a production environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle lumber and wood materials throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.
- Commitment to workplace safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in carpentry, crating, packaging, woodworking, manufacturing, or construction.
- Experience building pallets, skids, crates, or shipping containers.
- Familiarity with pneumatic tools and production environments.
- Ability to read detailed drawings or packing instructions.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
