Per Diem Licensed Social Worker (Ideally Bilingual)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LMSW or LCSW to join our team. Ideally, the candidate will be bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to senior individuals. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being and enhance the quality of life for our clients. This position is per diem, and the social worker would provide virtual counseling sessions remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide virtual individual and group counseling services over Zoom, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client requirements.
- Fill a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic support for clients.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on skill development, coping strategies, and peer support.
- Provide ongoing support and advocacy for clients within the adult home
Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid LMSW or LCSW license in the state of practice is mandatory.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes is essential.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention techniques are highly desirable.
- Previous experience facilitating group therapy sessions is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
