Start your new career as a First Shift TIG Welder with MAU at Samsung in Newberry, SC. As a First Shift TIG Welder, you'll read blueprints, lay out and fabricate parts, and TIG-weld components to help your team meet daily and weekly production goals. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

- 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:40 PM | Monday - Friday
- No weekends

What We're Looking For:
- Welding certification
- At least 3 years of fabrication experience
- High school diploma
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Ability to use fabrication tools, such as drills, saws, and brakes
- Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs frequently and stand for 8+ hours per day
- Preferred: Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Preferred: Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices
- Preferred: Strong communication and teamwork skills
What You'll Do as a First Shift TIG Welder:
- TIG weld a variety of materials and thicknesses
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings
- Lay out, cut, drill, machine, and bend materials to specifications
- Build and assemble components and products to meet daily and weekly production goals
- Run quality checks to make sure every product meets high standards
- Work with your team and supervisors to keep the workflow running smoothly
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
- Take constructive feedback and put it to work with a positive attitude
