Your new company Join a well-established and growing cabinetry and millwork firm delivering high-end, custom interiors across residential and commercial projects. With a strong pipeline of repeat clients and design-focused work, they are looking to bring on an Estimator to support preconstruction and pricing efforts.
Your new role You’ll play a critical role in the front-end of projects - working closely with clients, designers, and internal teams to develop accurate, competitive pricing for custom cabinetry and millwork packages. You will:
- Prepare detailed estimates and takeoffs for custom cabinetry and millwork scopes
- Review drawings, specifications, and design intent to develop pricing
- Analyze materials, labor, and production costs
- Partner with design teams, clients, and project managers during preconstruction
- Assist with value engineering and cost optimization
- Support proposal preparation and scope clarification
- Maintain strong communication with shop, production, and installation team
- This is a highly collaborative role with strong visibility into both design and build execution.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3–7+ years’ estimating experience (cabinetry, millwork, or interiors preferred)
- Background in custom cabinetry, woodworking, or finish trades is highly attractive
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and interior design packages
- Strong attention to detail with accurate takeoffs and pricing
- Experience working with high-end residential or commercial interior projects
- Strong communication skills working across clients, designers, and internal teams
