Your new company:
A fast-growing general contractor based in Northern Virginia is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Construction Assistant Project Manager to join their team. Or the team would look for a Junior Project Manager. You’ll be working on a variety of mixed-commercial construction projects across Northern Virginia and DC - including commercial interiors, institutional, retail, restaurant - excellent variety, you will not be pigeon-holed into doing one market sector! This is a full-time, permanent role with real growth potential. Ideal candidates will already be living in the Northern Virginia / DC metro area. This role is only open to U.S. citizens, visa sponsorship is not available for this particular position.
What you'll need to succeed:
- At least 3-8 years of experience in commercial construction with a general contractor.
- Operating as an Assistant Project Manager or Junior Project Manager seeking advancement.
- A bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field is preferred, but not required - your experience matters most.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and seniority levels.
- Familiarity with Procore is preferred, and certification is a bonus.
- Must be available to work on-site or in-office five days a week in Northern VA/DC.
- U.S. citizenship is required; sponsorship is not available for this role.
