Responsibilities include:
- Manage assigned month-end close activities, including reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Review financial results and investigated significant balance sheet and income statement variances.
- Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate audit support and responded to internal and external audit requests.
- Strengthen internal controls and supported financial reporting compliance.
- Improve accounting processes through standardization, automation, and workflow enhancements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support accounting operations and business objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders to monitor financial performance, risks, and controls.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, and business integration projects.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of accounting experience (Required)
- Public Accounting or Public Company Experience (Highly Preferred)
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Required)
- Ability to go on site 4 days a week
- Salary $100-105k plus bonus
