Vaco Arizona is partnering with a growing organization in the East Valley to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential, offering up to $32 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and clear outstanding aged items
- Investigate and resolve vendor account discrepancies, including pricing, quantity, and purchase order issues
- Troubleshoot invoice processing and system-related issues within SAP
- Partner with Procurement, Receiving, and internal departments to identify and resolve root causes
- Review and validate GL coding to ensure accuracy
- Support month-end close activities and reporting needs
- Respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with AP process improvements and workflow optimization initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Hands-on SAP or similar ERP experience, including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, and data analysis
- Experience with AP automation or workflow systems
