This position partners closely with senior leadership to turn financial data into practical recommendations that support expansion, profitability, and informed decision-making. Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s budgeting cycle and develop ongoing forecasts across monthly, quarterly, annual, and rolling planning horizons.
- Monitor actual performance against plans, explain material variances, and highlight emerging business risks and upside opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain short-term and long-range cash flow models, including analysis of liquidity needs and the financial impact of growth investments.
- Evaluate working capital trends by reviewing inventory, receivables, and payables to support healthy cash management decisions.
- Create profitability reporting across products, categories, locations, and sales channels to improve pricing, purchasing, and investment choices.
- Assess cost and margin drivers such as materials, labor, freight, duties, packaging, and manufacturing inputs to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build decision-support models for new locations, expansion plans, capital spending, and other strategic initiatives, including break-even and payback analysis.
- Produce executive-level reporting packages and scorecards that convert complex financial results into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Strengthen financial processes by improving reporting accuracy, connecting operational data sources, and identifying opportunities to streamline manual analysis through scalable tools and dashboards.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related financial analysis role.
- Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into business recommendations for senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Experience supporting decisions related to cash flow, working capital, margin performance, and growth investments.
- Proficiency with financial systems and planning tools, including experience with platforms such as Adaptive Insights.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working through incomplete or inconsistent data sets.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
