We are seeking an experienced Interim IT Auditor for a remote, 3+ month consulting opportunity with a leading fintech and payments company. This role will focus on IT SOX testing, IT General Controls (ITGC), and IT Application Controls, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality audit work and supporting key compliance activities. The ideal consultant brings recent, hands-on IT SOX experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced financial services environment.
- Perform IT SOX testing, including IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls.
- Execute hands-on testing of IT Application Controls and Key Reports.
- Prepare and maintain thorough, high-quality audit workpapers documenting testing procedures, results, and supporting evidence.
- Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness and identify potential control gaps or deficiencies.
- Support audit activities involving AWS environments.
- Document findings and communicate testing results clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage assigned testing responsibilities independently while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Recent, hands-on experience with IT SOX testing and IT General Controls (ITGC).
- Strong experience testing IT Application Controls.
- Experience with Key Report testing and preparing high-quality audit workpapers.
- Working knowledge of AWS environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage testing activities with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
