We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Temporary Recruiting/Staffing Support Specialist to join our team for the holiday season. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a smooth hiring experience for candidates during a high-volume hiring period.
salary: $24 - $24.5 per hour shift: Second work hours: 1:30 PM - 10 PM education: High School
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Candidate Sourcing
- Source, screen, interview, and onboard qualified temporary warehouse workers.
- Maintain an active candidate pipeline to meet continuous shift demands and client headcount requirements.
- Perform candidate pre-screening processes, including background checks, drug screening, and reference verifications according to facility guidelines.
- Multi-Shift Schedule Coordination
- Assist with schedule creation, roster management, and headcount allocation across all 3 shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts).
- Manage daily shift check-ins, attendance logs, and call-off notifications.
- Dynamically rebalance shift coverage to prevent operational downtime and fulfill real-time order requests.
- Assist with time-card verification, time entry, and attendance compliance.
- Talent Coaching & Development
- Provide direct, on-site coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback to temporary team members.
- Address workplace questions, resolve candidate concerns, and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover.
- On-Site Operations Support
- Act as the direct on-site liaison between temporary workers and warehouse supervisors.
- Participate in regular operational check-ins and report workforce metrics to leadership.
