salary: $50,000 - $80,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM education: High School
Responsibilities
- Proven experience as a CNC lathe and Milling machinist with proficiency in setting up milling machines and lathes.
- Familiarity with CNC operations setup and operations is mandatory.
- Experience operating a Haas UMC-500SS (or similar high-speed 5-axis machining center) is required. Candidates should have experience with simultaneous 5-axis machining; experience with automated systems such as robotic loading systems and pallet pools is highly desirable.
- Experience with CAM programming (Mastercam) is a plus.
- strong understanding of precision measuring instruments including bore gauges and micrometer.
- Knowledge of tooling techniques and materials used in machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Job Knowledge - Competent in required job skills and knowledge; exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; keeps abreast of current developments; requires minimal supervision; displays understanding of how job relates to others; uses resources effectively.
