Sr Engineering Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Torrance, CA. This role involves performing high-volume hydraulic and pneumatic testing, troubleshooting complex systems, and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Rate Range: $35/Hour to $38/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Engineering Technician Responsibilities include:

• Perform high-volume testing of commercial and military hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure product quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues identified during high-pressure fluid power testing processes.
• Analyze production methods, time studies, and operational workflows to improve efficiency and establish production standards.
• Interpret test results, document findings, and support continuous process improvements.
• Lead or assist team members on complex testing activities while ensuring adherence to safety and quality requirements.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, making timely decisions and driving tasks to completion.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4-6 years of experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical testing, troubleshooting, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience performing high-pressure testing of fluid power systems and interpreting test results.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and sound decision-making skills.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
