Akkodis is seeking an AWS Engineer for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA. You will join our team as an AWS Engineer and play a key role in building and automating scalable multi-account AWS infrastructure using Terraform and DevOps best practices. Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AWS Engineer Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain Terraform modules to automate provisioning across AWS multi-account environments.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, scalable, and secure infrastructure deployments.
- Implement and manage AWS networking, IAM, shared services, and cross-account access models.
- Collaborate with cloud architects and engineering teams to translate infrastructure designs into reusable Terraform code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and cross-account migration issues during project execution.
- Create documentation, support migration activities, and ensure smooth handover of cloud environments to operations teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and AWS engineering environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS multi-account architectures, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
- Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation, AWS networking, IAM, and automated cloud infrastructure management.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
