Kforce has a client in Miami, FL that is seeking a Mid to Senior level DevOps Engineer.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support and improve cloud infrastructure, application deployments, and CI/CD processes. This role will focus heavily on AWS, automation, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, and Java-based application environments, while partnering closely with development and support teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- DevOps Engineer will build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy and support applications across AWS, hosted, and on-premises environments
- Create and maintain Docker containers and automated deployment processes
- Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- As a DevOps Engineer, you will monitor cloud infrastructure, application performance, availability, and capacity
- Support production environments and troubleshoot Level 2/3 issues
- Help improve security, scalability, disaster recovery, and cloud best practices
- Maintain technical and infrastructure documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Hands-on DevOps and cloud engineering experience
- Strong AWS experience
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with Java application environments
- Experience with cloud monitoring, production support, and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
