Day-to-Day:
- Design and develop Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Lead SharePoint development and migration initiatives
- Create automated workflows that improve operational efficiency
- Build dashboards providing real-time business and financial insights
- Design and manage SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, and permissions
- Support Pentagon-wide SharePoint modernization efforts
- Gather client requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Integrate Power Platform applications with existing enterprise systems
- Conduct testing and quality assurance reviews
- Develop user guides and technical documentation
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting
- Collaborate directly with government stakeholders and leadership
- Recommend future-state process improvements and digital transformation initiatives
- Maintain and enhance solutions following production deployment
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support a high-profile federal defense initiative focused on SharePoint modernization, business process automation, and enterprise application development. This individual will serve as a technical lead and trusted consultant, working directly with government stakeholders to design scalable Power Platform and SharePoint solutions that improve operational effectiveness across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint, along with experience developing client-facing solutions in secure federal environments. This role offers the opportunity to support large-scale Pentagon initiatives involving automation, dashboard development, workflow modernization, and enterprise collaboration platforms while working with senior government leadership and mission-critical programs.
Skills and Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (minimum active Secret required, TS/SCI highly preferred)
- At least 2 years operating at current clearance level
- 3+ years of SharePoint experience (2019, SE, and SharePoint Online)
- Experience with SharePoint architecture, development, design, and migrations
- 3-5 years of Power Platform experience
- Strong hands-on experience with: ○ Power Apps ○ Power Automate ○ Power BI
- Experience serving as the sole solution developer on client-facing projects
- Federal government IT systems experience
- Defense-related experience (Army, Navy, Marines, Intelligence Community, or similar)
- Experience working directly with clients in a consulting capacity
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Communications, Program Management, or related field
- Experience developing workflows, reports, dashboards, and automation solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting and maintaining applications after implementation
- Multiple project engagements supporting enterprise solutions
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Department of Defense experience
- 3+ years supporting DoD programs/projects
- JavaScript experience
- Python experience
- Scrum Master certification
- Agile project delivery experience
- SharePoint Online migration experience at enterprise scale
- Experience with funding or financial dashboards
- Knowledge management and collaboration platform experience
