Electrical Testing Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Electrical Testing) for a leading electrical services and engineering client. This individual will join a growing team supporting a manufacturing facility in Carol Stream, Illinois, focused heavily on breaker testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical distribution equipment, and the ability to work independently. Candidates with military electrical experience, NICET certifications, or advanced electrical testing backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of electrical testing experience minimum (NETA) ○ 6+ years for higher end of pay range
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings
• High school diploma or GED Ability to pass background check
• OSHA 10 Certification
• NFPA70E Certification
• NICET Certification (Level I-IV)
• NETA testing experience
• Military background (Navy, Army, or related technical experience)
• Experience with breaker testing and protective relay testing Strong safety mindset and disciplined work ethic
