Job Description
This role will oversee and support the company’s IFS 10 ERP environment while leading technology projects and process improvement initiatives. The position combines hands-on ERP troubleshooting, business partnership, system optimization, and technical project management.
The primary focus is keeping IFS 10 stable and effective today while identifying improvements, reducing manual processes, and helping prepare the organization for a future transition to IFS Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary resource for IFS 10, troubleshooting system issues and coordinating resolutions with internal IT teams, vendors, and consultants. Manage and document ERP support requests, recurring issues, system configurations, integrations, and dependencies. Partner with business teams to understand workflows, identify pain points, and translate business needs into practical system improvements. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through ERP enhancements, process changes, automation, and reporting. Evaluate proposed system changes for technical feasibility, business impact, risk, and downstream effects on data, reporting, and integrations. Develop process documentation, user guides, and training materials while supporting users through system and workflow changes. Lead technology projects from initial planning through testing, implementation, and closeout, managing timelines, risks, deliverables, resources, and vendors. Support broader technology initiatives involving applications, integrations, cloud technologies, infrastructure, data, security, and automation. Continuously evaluate the IFS environment for opportunities to improve stability, performance, functionality, and user adoption. Help define future-state requirements and support the roadmap for the organization’s eventual migration from IFS 10 to IFS Cloud. Balance day-to-day ERP support needs with longer-term technology and modernization priorities.
