Required Skills & Experience

-Previous Plant Manager experience in a manufacturing environment. -Experience working within the packaging manufacturing industry. -Full P&L ownership and budget management experience. -Experience directly managing multiple managers across plant operations. -Strong Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience. -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant plant leadership experience. Proven experience overseeing overall plant operations, including production, quality, safety, maintenance, cost, and people leadership

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Kaizen or other continuous improvement experience. -Experience leading new equipment, mold, or manufacturing improvement projects. -Experience working directly with manufacturing customers and supporting customer quality requirements.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for one of our clients in Fremont, OH to lead overall plant operations within a packaging manufacturing environment. This person will be responsible for overseeing production, safety, quality, maintenance, financial performance, and continuous improvement across the facility. The ideal candidate will have previous Plant Manager experience, full P&L and budget ownership, experience leading multiple managers, and a strong Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma background. A degree is preferred but equivalent plant leadership experience will be considered.
