Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced engineer with a background in Model-Based Systems Engineering to join us in support of an important prototyping effort for the DoW. This individual systems engineering and integration activities for a Satellite Control Network Advanced Concept and Testing Effort. The Systems Integrator will provide senior-level expertise in systems engineering leadership capacity, driving architecture development, system integration, trade studies, and test planning and execution.
Other Duties:
- Develop the system architecture by reconciling competing visions, data flows, interfaces, and technical baselines into a mission-aligned technical solution.
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods to define systems-of-systems architectures and ensure all requirements are traceable to system design.
- Leverage standards-based frameworks, such as the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
- Consult on test planning processes, including the development of test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Collaborate with Test Engineers to ensure test execution aligns with integration and mission objectives.
- Lead test witnessing and document actionable recommendations based on system performance during testing
Skills and Requirements
-Active TS/SCI Clearance -Bachelors Degree in STEM or related field -5+ years of experience in defense/aerospace programs as a systems engineer -Demonstrated expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with proficiency in tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx EA, or Rhapsody. -Strong understanding of the entire systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements analysis to system deployment and support. -Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for defining systems-of-systems architectures and traceable requirements -Experience developing and delivering DoDAF views, including but not limited to Operational Views (OV-1, OV-2) and System Views (SV-1, SV-2)
