Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Lead for Ecolab's Mythos infrastructure program. You'll lead a new global team of about 15 engineers, roughly half outside the US, focused on vulnerability remediation and disaster recovery. You'll work with Security to prioritize findings, run one patch calendar across network, cloud, server, and endpoints, and make sure fixes are confirmed, not just deployed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team: Coach and develop about 15 engineers in several countries. Set goals, assign work by risk and capacity, and manage coverage across time zones.
- Prioritize by risk: With Security, turn findings and threat intelligence into a backlog ranked by exploitability, exposure, and business impact. Speed up action on urgent and zero-day issues.
- Own the patch calendar: Plan testing, pilots, maintenance windows, change approvals, user communications, and rollout order across all infrastructure teams.
- Deliver safely: Make sure dependencies, rollback, and support coverage are documented before each deployment. Confirm fixes with checks and re-scans, and track failures until they're resolved.
- Disaster recovery: Keep recovery plans and testing current.
- Drive accountability: Set clear owners across network, cloud, server, endpoint, application, and business teams. Escalate overdue fixes, unsupported assets, and resource gaps.
- Manage exceptions: Document exceptions with compensating controls, approval, and an expiry date. A deferral is not a fix.
- Report and improve: Track backlog risk, remediation age, target adherence, patch coverage, and deployment success. Improve processes, automation, and team skills.
