Solution Architect - Infor M3 Functional Finance

Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is searching for a Solutions Architect to own the global functional design and configuration integrity of Infor M3 Finance, ensuring solutions support the global template, business controls, operational requirements, and justified regional needs. This will be across record-to-report, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, treasury interfaces, and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end functional design across record-to-report, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, treasury interfaces, and statutory reporting. · Maintain the global Finance process and configuration template. · Lead fit-gap analysis and determine whether requirements should be addressed through configuration, process change, integration, or extension. · Challenge unnecessary customization and promote standard Infor M3 capabilities. · Produce functional designs, specifications, test scenarios, configuration baselines, and decision documentation. · Partner with the Product Manager on scope, priorities, roadmap, release planning, and capacity tradeoffs. · Work with Enterprise Architecture group to advise on platform decisions. · Guide regional technical analysts and ensure local requirements remain aligned with global standards. · Provide retained Level 3 functional escalation for complex incidents and recurring problems. · Confirm functional readiness and supportability before solutions transition into production. · Approve Finance configuration and process design within established governance. · Determine fit-gap resolution and recommend global versus regional design treatment. · Recommend configuration versus customization, extension, or integration. · Accept the functional readiness and supportability of Finance solutions.

Skills and Requirements

· Extensive functional experience with Infor M3 Finance or a comparable global ERP finance platform. · Strong knowledge of core accounting processes, financial controls, period close, payables, receivables, tax, and statutory requirements. · Demonstrated experience leading solution design, fit-gap analysis, configuration decisions, and functional specifications. · Ability to balance global standards with legal, statutory, and justified regional requirements. · Ability to communicate complex ERP concepts clearly to finance, technical, and leadership audiences. · Experience supporting a global or multi-region Infor M3 environment · Experience with ERP governance, design authority, global templates, and controlled regional variation. · Understanding of integrations, data dependencies, testing, release management, and production support. · Strong facilitation, documentation, stakeholder-management, and decision-making skills.
