ITSM Analyst / Manager (CMDB)

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of ServiceNow experience.
• Experience with CMDB, ITSM, Discovery, and IRE.
• Knowledge of ITAM (HAM/SAM) and APM.
• Experience within a large financial institution or other regulated environment.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Master Architect (CMA) highly desired.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced ITSM Analyst / Manager to support the CMDB Process Owner in advancing ServiceNow platform strategy within a large financial institution. This role will help align ITSM, CMDB, ITAM (HAM/SAM), APM, and Discovery practices to improve data quality, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support CMDB governance, standards, and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with ITSM, ITAM, and APM stakeholders to improve process alignment and data quality.
• Support Discovery and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) governance, including source management and reconciliation strategy.
• Establish ownership, certification, and reporting practices for configuration data.
• Develop roadmaps leveraging ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, asset management, and architecture teams to improve operational visibility and data integrity.

Pay Rate: 70-75/hr
