Job Description
A lead defense contractor sitting in Simi Valley, CA is looking to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer (working onsite on a 9/80 work schedule) that is responsible for leading the electrical and systems engineering effort for their UAS/drone platforms, taking products from requirements and design through integration, testing, validation, and production. He/she will be technically leading and helping to mentor other engineers on electrical design and development for their aircrafts. This will include electrical architecture, component selection, schematics, and PCB/PCBA design. He/She will be expected at minimum to handle PCB boards with 10-15+ layers. This Senior EE will be leading system integration and testing, including test planning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. This EE will also help to develop and manage electrical requirements, interfaces, and technical documentation. This role will be a 6 month contract to hire role, paying between $75-85/hour with some flexibility depending on years of experience.
