Commissioning Manager

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required.
• Education background in materials and methods of construction.
• 5+ years of project commissioning management experience required
• Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is preferred.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.
• Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6). Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of all aspects of commissioning.
• Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques.
• Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with CSI specification system for construction.
• Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills.

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire 1 Commissioning Manager for onsite hyperscale construction partner in Childress. These individuals will lead the commissioning field team and information from start to finish for large high-tech projects.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead our commissioning quality control efforts onsite by assist contractors with startup preparation, including reviewing startup schedules, review any impact that other contractors may have on startup
• collaborate with design professionals, clients, subcontractors and craftspeople to address complex commissioning coordination issues
