Job Description:
Multi-Family Property Management Company located in Cockeysville, MD is currently seeking experienced individuals with strong hands-on maintenance and supervisory background in our Cockeysville and Glen Burnie areas.
Maintenance Supervisors require the oversight of apartment communities and their associated staff.
Responsibilities for Maintenance Supervisor:
Always conduct yourself in a professional manner by being courteous to residents, vendors and co-workers, and treating them with respect.
Maintain confidentiality by not disclosing any information on a resident or a residents account with anyone including the police or law enforcement. Only discuss information with the leaseholder.
- Supervise and oversee technicians.
- Expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot a problem to assist the technicians.
- Monitor work order reports.
- Be sure all apartments are rent ready when the keys are given to the rental office.
- Schedule contractors.
- Order supplies through the Purchasing Department.
- Perform inspections.
- Performs all other work as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have valid drivers license and personal vehicle with insurance
Must have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience
Expertise in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair or carpentry
Strong attention to detail is required.
Experience with Yardis software is a plus.
