Project Manager/Estimator

- Pay: $105,000 - $135,000 per year

MUST HAVES
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related
- Heavy civil, marine or industrial construction experience
- Construction project management and estimating experience (preferred)
- Job costing, budgets and forecasting
- Can review drawings and specs and run multiple projects at once
The role You'll own construction projects from estimate through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, procurement, crews, subs and the client relationship. What you'll do
- Build project plans, schedules and preconstruction packages
- Forecast and track costs, revenue and profit
- Manage scope changes and protect margins
- Handle purchasing, submittals and weekly crew and equipment schedules
- Supervise APMs, superintendents and foremen
- Manage contracts, permits and client expectations
- Do weekly safety inspections and lead safety meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Construction project management and estimating experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working with PDF files
- Ability to coordinate multiple construction projects, teams, schedules, and competing priorities
- Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Ability to monitor project budgets, job costs, schedules, and financial performance
- Ability to review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Strong leadership and coordination skills when working with field personnel, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders
