Foreman/Superintendent

MUST HAVES
- Experience as a Foreman, Superintendent or similar supervisor
- Heavy civil, marine or industrial construction experience
- 5+ years of heavy civil construction (preferred)
- Pile driving, structural fabrication or heavy equipment experience (preferred)
- Can read plans and specs
The role You'll lead crews and run daily field operations so work gets done safely, on schedule and to spec. You'll coordinate people, subs, equipment and materials and keep the PM in the loop. What you'll do
- Lead crews and plan daily jobsite work
- Coordinate subs, equipment and materials
- Track productivity, quality and progress, and fix problems early
- Follow the schedule and flag delays to the PM
- Run safe jobsites under the company safety program
- Operate heavy equipment and pitch in when needed
- Make sure crew time is reported right every week
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience as a Construction Foreman, Superintendent, or in a similar supervisory role
- Minimum of five years of heavy civil construction experience and progressive supervisory responsibility preferred
- Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: heavy civil construction, pile driving, marine construction, structural fabrication
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operations preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and crew coordination skills
- Ability to organize daily work activities, coordinate resources, and manage competing priorities
- Strong understanding of construction safety, quality control, and jobsite productivity
