Now Hiring: Sit-Down Forklift Operator – South Fort Worth
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $18–$21/hr (based on experience)
Location: South Fort Worth (Everman area)
Environment: Non-climate-controlled, includes indoor/outdoor work in a fabrication shop and yard
Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join a busy industrial team in South Fort Worth. This role involves a mix of receiving, material handling, and light computer work to support daily warehouse operations. You’ll be working in a fabrication shop environment, assisting with the flow of materials in and out of the facility and yard. This is a hands-on, full-time position that offers consistent hours and the opportunity to grow with a solid company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklift safely to load/unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse, fabrication shop, and yard
- Perform receiving duties, including unloading deliveries and verifying paperwork
- Utilize basic computer systems for inventory, receiving, and shipping tasks
- Conduct visual inspections of outgoing products to ensure quality (paint, labeling, packaging)
- Keep yard and work areas organized, clean, and free of debris
- Communicate daily with leads and supervisors to stay aligned on workflow
- Follow all safety protocols and attend safety meetings as scheduled
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year of sit-down forklift experience required
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled fabrication shop and outdoor yard
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
