Manufacturing Machine Maintenance Technician Location: Mechanic Falls, ME Job Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday - Thursday I 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $29-$34 per hour
Adecco is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s manufacturing team in Mechanic Falls, Maine. This individual will independently maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment repairs independently
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
- Perform tooling changeovers on production equipment while ensuring products meet specifications
- Implement programs to minimize machine downtime and production changeovers
- Use machine shop tools to fabricate parts and complete repairs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of business goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
- 3 to 5+ years of industrial machine maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of building electrical systems and industrial equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
- Basic machinist experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to climb ladders, bend, crouch, and work in confined or awkward spaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
