Machine Novice 📍 Parsippany, NJ 💰 $25.00/hour ⏰ Various shifts, including weekends 📋 Temp-to-Perm
Job Summary:
Seeking an entry-level Machine Novice with hands-on machining or CNC experience to operate and assist with production equipment, including CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Wire EDM, and Sinker EDM machines.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and/or EDM machining equipment
- Run production cells and follow production schedules
- Read and work from blueprints and specifications
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
- Install and align fixtures and tooling
- Download and transfer machine programs
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean
- Record production and labor transactions
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous CNC, EDM, machining, or manufacturing experience required
- Blueprint reading experience preferred
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be flexible to work different shifts and weekends
- Must be able to read and write English
Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
