We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring production goals, quality standards, safety requirements, and schedules are consistently met.
Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM Location: Bessemer, AL (Onsite)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations and workflow to ensure production goals and deadlines are met
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees and supervisors
- Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency while identifying opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate production schedules, staffing, materials, and equipment needs
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards
- Maintain high standards for product quality and production accuracy
- Train and onboard new employees while supporting ongoing employee development
- Communicate production performance, challenges, and needs to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment
- Help implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
Qualifications
- 5+ years of production or manufacturing experience required
- Previous supervisory or management experience required
- Experience in construction manufacturing preferred
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow production specifications and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
