This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising maintenance employees, coordinating repairs, managing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team on third shift.
- Assign and prioritize maintenance tasks based on production needs.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment repairs as needed.
- Inspect machinery and monitor equipment performance to prevent unexpected downtime.
- Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage employee attendance, scheduling, and performance.
- Coach, train, and develop maintenance team members.
- Enforce company policies and follow progressive disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure all maintenance activities follow company safety standards and procedures.
- Work closely with production personnel to address equipment issues and maintain workflow.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with hydraulics, PLCs, and three-phase electrical systems.
- Experience leading preventive maintenance programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work a consistent overnight/third shift schedule.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to stand and work on the production floor for extended periods.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.
Safety Responsibilities

- Ensure maintenance team members comply with PPE requirements.
- Identify and report workplace hazards immediately.
