Production Welder

Production Welder Pay: $18.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience) Location: Youngstown, OH Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are hiring a dependable and skilled Production Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Youngstown, OH! This position involves measuring, cutting, assembling, and welding metal components in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has previous welding experience, can read blueprints, and takes pride in producing quality work. Candidates with Flux-Cored (Dual Shield) welding experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
• Measure, cut, and prepare metal materials according to specifications.
• Perform Flux-Cored (Dual Shield) welding as required.
• Assemble metal components accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and tolerance standards.
• Operate hand tools, including 4-inch and 9-inch grinders.
• Prepare work surfaces for safe and effective welding.
• Maintain and clean welding equipment and tools.
• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience.
• At least 6 months of Flux-Cored (Dual Shield) welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, reliable, and safety-focused.
• Willingness to learn and follow company processes.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Good vision and hearing to identify potential hazards and maintain a safe work environment.
