Overview
Shop Mechanic (Swing Shift) Suncore is hiring a skilled Shop Mechanic to maintain and repair our construction equipment fleet. If you have diesel, hydraulic, and electrical repair experience, join our team for competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment! Things You’ll Do
- Perform routine diesel engine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.
- Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged parts and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Troubleshoot and repair engine fault codes using diagnostic equipment and tools.
Requirements
- Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience as a Diesel or Shop Mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.
- Diesel mechanic certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
