Diesel Mechanic Join Suncore Construction & Materials and Keep Our Equipment Moving! Suncore is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our construction equipment fleet. Schedule: Start time is 3:00 PM. What You’ll Do
- Perform routine diesel engine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.
- Inspect equipment and identify worn or damaged parts for repair or replacement.
- Troubleshoot engine fault codes using diagnostic tools and equipment.
What You’ll Need
- Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.
- Experience with Oshkosh mixer trucks preferred.
- Diesel mechanic certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
