Job Duties
- Coordinate and assist with loading shipments while ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Process shipping transactions and prepare commercial bills of lading and required shipping paperwork.
- Prepare daily driver dispatch logs, including routes, deliveries, and pickups.
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day and update routes as schedules change.
- Use automated shipping systems, including FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
- Ensure packaging and labeling meet customer specifications and shipping procedures.
- Follow work instructions, assist team members, and complete assignments within required timeframes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Use Microsoft Excel to support shipping documentation and daily operations.
- Operate a forklift as needed, if certified.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
- 1–3 years of shipping experience required.
- 3+ years of shipping experience preferred, including previous experience shipping to Applied Materials.
- Familiarity with automated shipping systems, including FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures, packaging materials, labeling requirements, and shipment documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently, follow directions, and collaborate with team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience coordinating shipments, driver routes, deliveries, and pickups.
- Experience preparing commercial bills of lading and other shipping documentation.
- Forklift certification and experience operating material-handling equipment.
- Familiarity with customer-specific packaging and shipping requirements.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 pounds as required by the role.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and assist with loading shipments.
- Ability to sit, use a computer, and communicate by phone for extended periods.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail while processing shipping transactions and documentation.
- Ability to work in a shipping and logistics environment with moderate noise from office and shipping equipment.
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or meetings, depending on assignment requirements.

What You Will Do
