Job Duties
- Keep the flow moving - loading, unloading, and sorting products all shift long
- Pick and pack orders so they’re right the first time, every time
- Use scanners to track what’s in and out (easy to learn, we’ll show you)
- Stick to safety rules - your crew depends on it
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience operating the cherry picker, sitdown forklift and clamp forklift
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to keep track of large volumes of records and maintain an organized storage system.
- The role often involves physical activity, such as lifting and carrying boxes up to 70 lbs.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory management, record keeping, and potentially other warehouse-related software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and potentially with clients regarding record requests and other matters.
- Understanding of best practices for handling and storing various types of records.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Record Storage Warehouse Associate.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
