The Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately and safely accounting for the loading of outbound trucks, ensuring accuracy to the extent possible of contract number, customers and load numbers. Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring prior load content verification in conjunction with the food safety program and providing general building and equipment upkeep. This position deals directly with drivers, operators and customer.
This is a temporary to hire position Pay rate is $25/hour Schedule is 6am-2:30pm
Responsibilities:
oCheck in drivers at window oShipping Supervisor communication regarding loads. oAdjust quantities when bags/pallets are reduced or changed oAfter loads completed, verify products from pallet tags oUnlock containers for drivers (glad hand locks) oRecord truck ???in???, and truck ???out??? times oKeep track of ???on time??? scheduled loads oRecord scheduled loads vs. actual loads daily oUpdate photo record of loads daily oKeep track of incoming equipment destined for the ???hole??? oCoordinate fumigation requirements of upcoming loads with Traffic oTrack Export containers (Basic Comm, Itochu, Sumitomo, etc.) oTrack/log iGPS pallets shipped out oTrack/log CHEP pallets shipped out oScale House responsibilities when coverage required

Excel and SAP are preferred.
