JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Rack cast parts & hardware to the appropriate rack, following the process document for correct location and orientation of part. 2. Remove completed parts from racks and place in appropriate bins, carts or other storage devices. 3. Inspect parts for plating quality and complete coverage. 4. Report plating defects or problems relating to the plating line to the plating supervisor in a timely manner. 5. Assist in the periodic dismantling and cleaning of the plating line tanks, conveyor, transfer device and other plating related equipment. 5. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS No math skills required beyond addition & subtraction. REASONING ABILITIES Some judgment is required to set up assigned machine in accordance with standard methods and procedures. Must develop detailed knowledge of the correlation between parts & part racks. Must develop a working knowledge of the full plating machine operation, be able to identify potential problems and learn appropriate responses to various types of equipment problems.
