Substitute Cook

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our culinary team as a Substitute Cook. This full-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about food preparation and enjoys working in a dynamic kitchen environment. The Substitute Cook will be responsible for preparing meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring that all food safety standards are upheld. This role requires flexibility, as the Substitute Cook will step in during staff absences and assist with various culinary tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals and dishes according to established recipes and menus.
• Assist in food preparation.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and food storage areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely meal service.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the head cook or kitchen manager.
